Subject: The love for a city

Fellow VeCo students,

Sitting here in an office in Florence, Italy. Tomorrow is the last day of a one month internship. It has been both fun and dull. Well, if you like filing papers and looking for lost documents in archives, then this is the job for you! ;)
Florence is the most beautiful city I have ever seen! Just to be here and be able to live here for a month is worth any filing! You might be wondering why I am writing this, it's called filling up my day at work. Let me paraphrase that, it is called "pulling a Bas" ;) I am sure he will forgive me for that one, won't you sugar?

What have I seen while being in Italy? Oh, by the way, went here with the sweet Alicia who managed to get me lost, have me vaccum clean washing powder at 1 in the morning and take me to the most expensive restaurant in the whole of Florence. (yes, she is very generous!)
Went to Rome one day, was to my amusement called a "contadina" (peasant) (I was the lucky one, Alicia had some old fart pinch her behind), saw Venice and Verona where I was luckily spared from any agriculturally related comments and have been all around Florence.

Actually, I am quite looking forward to return to VeCo, feel quite old (3rd year) can't believe time passes so quickly.

I guess it's time for me to sum up this little anecdote with a ciao from Italy and the hope of seeing you all soon again!

Loads of love,
Christina
