Subject: Student Visa

I'm interested in studying at Vesalius College next year, and I wanted to know a little more about getting a student visa. I have Crohn's disease, which is a non-communicable intestinal disease. My parents are concerned that the Belgian embassy won't issue me a visa because of my disease. I assure you that I am a healthy and vital person. If I have a private health care, will that help? Also, I'm planning on making a personal appearance at the Belgian consulate in New York while on vacation next month. Should I disclose this information then? I really appreciate any help you all have to give me; Vesalius is my top choice and I really don't want to do anything else. I hope that I can just get the damn visa.
