Subject: Communism Could Work

Basic Philosophy of Communism



1. “A system of society in which property was owned by the community and all citizens shared in the enjoyment of the common wealth.”
2. “Goods will come so abundant that they would be distributed on the basis of need rather then endeavor.”
3. “The second change in Soviet doctrine was the view that war between the capitalist and socialist powers was no longer inevitable.”
4. “A social revolution must be the work of the people, it is the responsibility of revolutionaries to prepare the people for this.”
5. “According to Marxism, the bourgeois contained within it the seeds of their own destruction, the number of capitalists would decrease and the number of impoverished proletariat would grow until finally a breakdown would occur and a socialist revolution would start.”

I’m familiar with history and I know of the many horrors inflicted upon the innocent in the name of communism, but that doesn’t mean there is a somewhat ultraistic aspect to the communist ideology.
