TNT first showed this last fall, and I was pretty impressed. I'm looking forward to the new series.

Yancy Butler is pretty hot - has a Claudia Black thing going (FarScape). I've seen her is some other stuff - seems she was in some mobster movie in the early 90s - but mostly "B" level stuff.

I think the show may be based on a comic book series, though I'm not sure as I don't follow the comics. But that would account for such a well-developed back-story.
