May I just say that the length of the Death Penalty thread has made it impossible to read, at least for me. Not the content but the physical layout of it. I can read one or two replies (if I can find them way over to the right) and then my computer refuses to let me continue. Don't know if others have had the same problem. It is the LONGEST thread I have ever seen on a message board.

Speaking as someone with a bit of moderator experience April may be put in a potential bind. She may have to make some tough decisions in order to preserve the functionality of the board. It would be sad if she had to delete a thread just because posters didn't think about what they were doing.

So as a favor to this board and any message board you may frequent don't be afraid to continue a thread up top. Or shorten a subject line when responding or editing the automatic reply text or going back up to the top thread and replying. That tends to move the posts back to the left.

No, I'm not attempting a coup but I was drawn to the subject line - a moderator speaks. *g*
