i would have to say yes it was a long day. i would also have to add that although tired my child had a very fun day playing and meeting other children from all around. we have attended other pageants that have not been a state pageant that have become a bit over priced for what your child won. they did not receive a trophy but did get a not so nice sash and a small tiara. perhaps you may think the director should have been more friendly or maybe every time she tries to be nice to someone they try to start problems with her so maybe with the cameras rolling she thaught it to be best to stay clear. i or we are not taking up for the director but am very thankfull that i don't have to wear her shoes!! this is a small town and not everyone is going to be happy all the time. would like to add the trophies i saw at the pageant was very nice and every child should have been happy to receive one, they are taller than most of the children who received them. i also feel the tiaras in size made up the differance. i have seen children win a supreme title and recieve a smaller tiara than what they gave for princess, and again no trophy!! every dog has his/her day and everything happens for a reason!! so if you feel you wasted your money ask yourself two question's is this for the children and did they have fun. we may not always like it or it may break our piggy bank but life goes on! remember we no better the next time or we can just let the kid's have fun they are only small for a short time and this is something you can tell stories about to your grandchildren about the time mommy or daddy was on tv. >i want to say i totaly agree this pageant was very
>unfun and the director was a total joke!!! the
>trophies were beautiful as well as the beautiful
>sashes and crowns she had given. i feel that it wasnt
>worth attending this pageant. i knew that going in my
>daughter didnt have a big chance after i saw many
>talented girls it was a joke the pageant took longer
>than it should have they allowed to much time to pass
>between beauty and ooc and talent to crowning. i didnt
>agree to the winners but i was not judging. the
>director was nowhere to be found inside the ballroom
>she stayed out in the lobby the entire time the only
>time you saw here was when crowning started. it was
>the most boring pageant we ever attended! my daughter
>had a blast playing with everyone and meeting new
>people and that at the end of the day is all that
>matters to her. we have been to smaller pageants that
>gave out more than this director did i guess she
>wanted to pocket alot of that money i couldnt believe
>everyone got the same size of trophy to me that is
>shocking! i loved the sashes and crowns more than
>anything they were beautiful i just felt she lacked
>personality with people she never met and we will
>never attend another pageant through this system it is
>better when they try to make you feel welcome.
