I was just recently interested in this question, because if you are interested in cryptocurrency, you definitely need to know what DeFi sector is. Yes, the DeFi sector is indeed new, but it is already a competitor to banking systems. So be sure to read here https://kravox.com/defi-what-it-is-the-main-services-and-how-to-make-money-from-it an interesting and clear article on what DeFi is. Also look out for information about the main services and so you'll find out how you can make money from it. I'm sure after the first read you'll be able to figure out what DeFi is.
