hi,
i take pointe myself and before i started on pointe i took ballet for 7 years. Since you only started ballet a month ago, it will probably be at least another year before you start pointe work. Even though you may be the best at jazz and tap, ballet is a whole different ball game... believe me, I no. I took jazz for a while and it's really hard to get used to the whole turn in thing for jazz. So I'm guessing it will be hard to get used to turning out in ballet. YOu probably won't start pointe work until you have the strength in your whole body, not just your feet. Be patient, starting pointe when your body isn't ready for it can lead to broken or fractured bones, and sprains. I personally would rather wait until I am ready for pointe than sprain my ankle and not be able to dance at all. Good luck!
