Our dance school, WSOD in wyckoff, nj, had so many cool dances this year. I personally was in a bunch. Usually we do recital numbers by class, but for ballet this year, we did one large company nymber that lasted about ten minutes and had various variations from all different parts of a ballet, quarter ballet, semisoloists, and soloist. I was the soloist and had 2 variations on pointe. For jazz, we did, it's oh so quiet by bjork. it was a fun, different dance, and for tap, we did jumpin at the greenmill. Our lyrical class did an amazing and powerful number called goodnight saigon, by billy joel. It was so powerful and moving it had half the audience in tears.
this year's recital should be even better.
