Hi,I have been dancing for 5 yrs.:Jazz 3 yrs:Ballet 2. I think you should go on pointe after taking at least 2-3 yrs of ballet. I think it is also helpful to be taking jazz and other different types of dance too. I think you should take a total of at least 3 classes a week.
