Summary: Los Angeles Area Gets a New Spider

The text talks about a new spider,a tropical "Brown Widow" spider (Lactrodectus geometricus) that was found in the Los Angeles area by a 4th-grade student from Van Deene Elementary School in Torrance. The spider has not been found before in Los Angeles and it , maybe, was introduced by importing plants or furniture from Africa, now it makes part of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The most common Widow in the Los Angeles area is the Black Widow, but the Brown Widow is twice more poisonous and less aggressive. with the Violin Spider the Brown and the Black Widow make part of the group of three that are able to puncture human skin in Southern California then, when bitten by them seek for medical assistance.

My performance doing the exercises was very good, I had only one incorrect answer.

This is a good site to English learners, but I think the other one was more difficult. So, it will depends on the learner difficulties.
