News: POLICE COME UNDER ATTACK IN BRAZIL (Posted: Monday, November 3, 2003 )
The text talks about the wave of violence that is happening against the policemen in São Paulo. In one weekend, more than 11 shooting or grenade attack against police were registered. According to the state's public security chief, Saulo de Castro Abreu Filho, some of these attacks may be a reaction due to a failed prison break, but it’s still too early to take any conclusion on it. And it’d know that it wouldn’t be the first time the police force of São Paulo has come under a coordinated criminal assault.
