Title: Brazilian inmates die in sewers during jailbreak

Summary: In the city of São Paulo, Brazil, at least 6 prisoners suffocated in a sewer after trying to escape from the São Paulo State Penitentiary on Sunday, November 9th. From the 87 prisoners who fled the prison, police recaptured 13. A spokesman from the state Security Secretariat said that the fugitives knew the sewage system well. Another 7 prisoners are suspected to have died after they got lost in the labyrinth of pipes, bringing estimated number of dead to 13. Authorities are trying to dig out the dead prisoners which are still believed to be there.
