The text I chose is entitled "Astronomers Discover Solar System"

Itīs about a recent discovery some astromers made of a solar system called Andromedae. It has three planets. The middle one is quite similar to us in relation to its distance to its sun, called Upsilon Andromeda. All three planets are about the size of Jupiter. This solar system is about 44 light years away, which isnīt very far, astronomically speaking, of course. Our technological state still isnīt enough to let us know whether or not thereīs life on this solar system since we donīt know what the planetsīactual conditions are.

I did ok on the exercises. There were six activities, five of which are attributed grades. On the graded ones I got two 100 percent marks, two 83 percent marks and one zero percent. I am just horrible in sequencing activities. I never get any right!!

I think this text is very interesting and anyone who is interested in astronomy, such as myself would enjoy it. I thought the activities were quite unreasonble. Most are very easy, but then thereīs a question or two that you have to rely on luck to get correct. The text question, which was not graded, was also a bit traditional. Are there life on other planets? Do you think they are like us. I DONīT KNOW. Still, the text itself was quite interesting and the comcept of there being life on other planets or not interests just about everyone.
