Bergam's family believed Doctor Chin was doing the right thing concerning to their relative's health. Such a family did not sue Chin because there is a kind of procedure concerning Bergam's disease which is to apply enough painkillers in order to keep one with no pain. Unfortunately, Doctor Chin did not follow such procedures, threfore he was sued by Bergman's family.
