Subject: Introduction

Hello guys,

Well, my name is Adalberto Rocha. First of all I'd like to apologize for being so late. I've been trying to figure out how this thing would work all week, but the computer lab here at Letras had technical problems and since I don't have a pc at home I just had to wait. Here it goes...I'm 22 years old and I have been a student here at Letras since 1999. I graduated for licenciatura in the beginning of the year and took a break last semester before I started my bachelor's course. I'm average height, got brown hair, the color of my eyes really does depend on where I am. I love going to the gym and I find a way to do so every day. I also take swimming classes 3x a weekAs you can see I have a very active lifestyle and I love every minute of it. I have been an English teacher for about 4 years now and love that too. Eventhough I love teaching language I intend to ultimately become a literature teacher. I'm hoping my monografia will give me some insights to work on my master's. I'm from Ipatinga which is just 200 kilometers from here, and I would love to go there more often, but since I work Saturday mornings I don't get to go there as often as I would like to. My parents are divorced. My father lives in Valadares, which is about 300 km away, and my mom in Ipatinga. My sister also does Letras and teaches English, but she studies at Ufop. Even though my family is geographically very much separated, I think we are as close as can be. The only ones who don't get in touch very often, as you may imagine, are my parents. Well, I think that just about does it...as fun as it may be, I really think I should go on and try to get my first task done...
