The text I chose is called Angels of Mercy. It talks about a deaf woman called May that decided to become a nurse. Dr. Richardson was the woman who gave her a shot at Mercy Hospital eventhough May was deaf. She warned her that the work would be arduous and the salary very low, but that didn't intimidate May. Time went by and May did so well and was so successful that Dr. Richardson decided to hire to two other nurses who had similar problems, namely Marian and Bessie. May only disobeyed Dr. Richardson once regarding whether or not to take the prescious time to hold the babies that would cry from time to time. Still, Dr. Richardson ultimately overlooked this disobedience because she had to admit that it was ok and that iwas in fact good for the harmony of the hospital. Unfortunately, none of the three went on to become nurses. May had to stop due to marriage, Marian had family problems and Bessie went through some health problems. Undoubtedly Dr. Richardson never regretted having hired them, on the contrary, the people that worked there as well as some of the patients certainly had their lives touched by the three angels exemplary qualities.

This text had two activities. On the first one I got only 50 percent and on the second 100.

I would recommend this site also because besides being a touching story the text is very rich. I just thought that the exercises could've been better. The exercises of the first site certainly worked the text out much more.
