Okay, so the episode starts off all very nice and jolly. Spike's dream had me in fits of the giggles and Willow's 'well-timed' wake-up call and the priceless line about how it must have been a horrible nightmare were the perfect punchlines :)
And then the rest of the episode seems to show how, on the whole, AI has now put the worse behind them. Willow and Spike were good together on BtVS, and they're a great comic duo here too. The shopping trip, the fountain, and finally the club were all wonderful. And I can so see Spike doing that little 'touchdown' move, composing himself, and calmly strutting on. LOL!
Angel and Connor seem to have really settled down into their new relationship which is a joy and relief to see after all these pain-filled years. We get to see them working as a team and working well. Although, 'bowel problems'? *smile* Well, I suppose what Angel's doesn't know can't hurt him.
Gunn and Gwenn continue to charm me. They're both themselves and still managing to almost be lovey-dovey. Good for them.
Good for Lorne who is literally beginning to put his life back together.
Fred's fine too.
Lindsey's in there somewhere...

Now who could they be...
I do feel sorry for Tibby. She is lovely and I think Wes may have loved her but I'm not sure. Did he break up to protect her because he loved her, or did he break up to protect her because he really was in love with her? I guess it's a little late to know that now. Still, Tibby is not a weak woman by any means and I think she'll be a good person for Angel to have at his back in the days to come.
Wes and Lilah.
Well damn.
Kudos to Lilah, she did try, more than once, to not do what ended up happening. Soul or not soul, she still cares. Admittedly it would have helped if she had *not* come back to LA and *not* lured Wes out of the bar because honestly what did she *think* would happen. At least she waited till he asked.
And Wesley, oh dear my poor Wesley. I wonder... The fact he was as pickled as a newt didn't help, but we've already seen that Lilah can really get under his skin. Even if he had been sober, I wonder if he could have resisted her indefinitely.
Onwards and downwards then!
