Heres your answer..im just going to break it down by song..cos thats the easiest way for me..and i will say one thing before hand - i write all my lyrics with the idea of having everyone relate to them. I like writing them based on ideas. Even if that idea has to come from an exact moment or situation that has occured in my life.

1 Voicmail & 1 AM - This song is about taking chances. Anyone or anything taking any chances. From you writing that post to me writing the lyrics, its just about chance. The lyrics go through consequences of not taking chances, outcomes when you do and dont, and finally the satisfaction and feeling of throwing it out there and dealing with whatever may happen.

Promises Scare - This song is solely based on the concept of Fear. Everyone is scared of something and this song can relate to that in anyway. The chorus is actually an acronoym - False Evidence Appears so Real - spelling Fear.
Cushioning it, hiding it, ignoring it, and letting it run you. written in a persons view of another stuggling with being scared.

Different - This song was written about feeling as the title suggests, different. Not mixing with other people sometimes and mainly not caring about it. A song for people struggling with not accepting who they are. Telling them that its better to be who they are then who someone else wants them to be.

Conditions - The idea for this one actually started while considering that our band, ADW, was no better, no worst than most local bands. It was to portray an apology for not being anything special but at the same time knowing that we do our own thing and think for ourselves. The song is easily seen as a girl/guy fight song as well though. So you take it for what you will. and that will make me just as happy.
