Subject: Ahh.... Manic depression.....(read)

What Slayer says above is True. When you have Manic Depression you're totally at the mercy of your moods and she truly doesn;t believe what she says. She needs help to get through it, professional help. Have you seen a doctor? Some medication can help. SOme Anti-Psychotics can be successful in toning down the extreeme mood swings somewhat, and I've witnessed people with M-D lead relatively "normal" lives with depression. If Medication doesn;t work then she may need a spell in a hospital and some care there- if only to give you and your stepfather a small rest (it's called "Respite Care" and It's surprisingly common.)

The reason I know what I do is that I work in the Care sector, and I'm in contact with people who have M-D day-in, day-out. I know how difficult it must be for all of you.
Don;t take what she says to heart though, because deep down that's not how she feels.
