yes, it is a little confusing, but it is only more confusing by those that don't see it as mythology and try to say they are using parables to describe everything to try to defend their flawed bible. there is "no" statement in the bible that the earth is a sphere, and only influencual text supporting that it is flat. you think they would ask God some of these things that they didn't know about or that God would set them straight and teach them well (God flunked science?). Also in Job 9:6, the Earth sits on pillar supports. And in Job 9:7, the Sun rotates around the Earth (stated as God commanding the Sun not to rise, if you don't want the Sunrise you command the Earth not to rotate, we all know that)
