 if someone went back in time and swapped the bible for a book such as 'lord of the rings', would people be believing that the loveable hobbit, 'Frodo' is who they shuld look up to as he destroyed the ring and saved everyone from evil n that. would people be destroying rings and shit all the time in order to show their appreciation to their 'god' frodo? im just trying to get the princple across that, isnt the bible just some book that people have wrote to express there fairy tales in? doesnt it just take a bit of common sense to realise that half the stuff that happened in the bible, is impossible to happen, and i dont see special talking serpants nowadays, like in the garden of eden, do you?
