and runs his hand down her neck. he looks under her throat, checking desperatly for signs of 'strangles' . *its not strangles thank god...* he frowns and shakes his head *its not colic- shes not showing the symptoms- shes not kicking at her stomach or circling- and it wouldnt explaine the cough...\* he shakes his head*i can only think it would be a broken wind.* he looks gravely at carmen *is there anychance she could have been riden while she had a couch, or been fed immediatly after or before excercise?* he watches her flanks contract and see's the double - movement when she breathes out
