Yup, just got home & checked my email. If the good Lord's willing & the creek don't rise, we should be at Stockbridge - that's our plan, anyway...

I forgot to mention, you ain't the only tough character down there. Forgot about the Benjamin boys. Think they're around Andrew's age, give or take a couple years. Did talk to their ole man (Jim) a couple days ago. Said something about having a fire extinguisher. Was quite impressed - didn't think my red one was that hot... But anyway, I did ask him if it mattered what grade of wire I needed to hold it down with...

Oh, another thing - my stock manifold took a hike. Blew a hole in the side of it at Elkton last year, and the back side of it at Imlay City a couple weeks later. Brother Chuck says it's too far gone to be fixed - & he oughta know. Stopped at Williams Farm Equip. in Charlotte, MI about a month ago, on my way down to "The Bluegrass". Went through their parts book, found the manifold, and did a check. That part is now obsolete - no longer available. The called-for replacement is a D19 manifold. And that's what were're gonna use. Stock carb doesn't match up, but we'll make it work. The TTPA rules call for using the stock carb, and not the D19, so that's what we gotta use...

Ok, gotta go. Got one more tire to wrastle...
