hi pullers and friends,,,this is to let you know how
hank is doing after his wreck that he was in last friday night here is what
happened he was on his way home after taking his girlfriend home just after
midnight ,,he doesnt remember befor the crash,,,he ran in a ditch where he hit
an driveway that was on a long grade which shot the car airborn over a 15 foot
deep ditch and in a corn field,,,,but,,,he went airborn over the corn 150 feet
in the field he didnt touch any corn till the car fell out of the sky(now the
corn was 7 foot high)the car went bumper first to the ground hit and was shot
back in the air over the corn again where he went end over end two more times
landing on its top he managed to get out of his seet belt and out a window as
he was walking away and saw the car was on fire and it blue up but hankwasnt
neer it when that happened..hank had no idea where he was so he went toward a
noise he was rearing which was a corn dryer than he fell in that big ditch he
got out and made his way to the dryer where he found a house there and some
help, now hank was to be home at 12.30 and it was five to one when the phone
rang and it wasnt him now let me tell you alot goes through your mind on that
drive to the hosipital,,it was 6.30 when they were done with him ,,now he ws
very lucky he walked away with a big bump on his head but he has three
fractured vertabreas in his back but the doc says it will take time but he
should be fine ,,the police and rescue people told me that they never saw a
wreck this bad like this one where no one was killed,,if you saw the car you
would wonder how many were killed in it ,,it is clear to me that the good lord
has planes for my son Hank for there is no other reason he surived this,,now i
almost lost me son and i dont know what i would do if i wouldhave, when i came
home from the hosipital i went back to the big mapel where hank goes camping
and sat there a while just colecting my thoughts rembering how good it is doing
things with hank watching him grow up going hunting with him working with him
and yes even tractor pulling ,,now this might not be the time or the place for
this and i know that dave is going to be mad over this but life is too short to
read the BS on this cking thing so FIX IT DAVE I HEARD ENOUGH ,,RUNNER/DAVE

Dave,I just read this and with having a son of my
own,I think I know how thankful you'll be every time you look at Hank to have
another day to spend with him.I'm sitting here with goosebumps while I read
your post.Hank is a young man any father would be proud to have,he's always
been as polite as the day is long.My prayers will be with him and your
family.People don't realize that the things we take for granted are the most
important.Tell Hank to stay strong and we are all thinking of him,Dan

Wow...It makes you feel a little smaller when
something like this happens. I am very glad that Hank is okay. I'm sure that
things will be hard for a little while, but bumps and bangs will heal. I share
Dan's thoughts in that Hank is one of the nice guys and it's pleasure knowing
him. I am also sure the sun will be a little brighter and the grass a little
greener every day now. Tell Hank to get well soon and my wife and I will be
saying a thank you in our prayers. I hope to see you all in a couple of weeks
at the meeting.CP

Got home a few minutes ago, and Andrew told me about
Hank's wreck as I walked in the house...HANK IS ONE LUCKY YOUNG MAN -
CONSIDERING THE DESCRIPTION!!! Need to know if he's still in the hospital
(which one) or at home... Andrew says to tell him to hurry up and get well
'cause there's a pool table that ain't being used...somewhere...

Our thoughts and prayers are with him in this house.
Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery. Tell him he's gotta watch them deep
ditches and culverts, I know all about them from my younger days. Barry
