Dear Ian,
So sorry to hear this, it is so hard to loose our parents. Rich or poor we all have to leave this life one day, even thou I know we will go to a better place...it is so hard on us to loose our loved once.
My mom has a bone cancer and I just saw her last week, maybe for the last time, as my parents live in Germany. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I have a life in the US and could not stay away from my responsibilities here. It was so hard to part with her...
My heart goes out to you.
