Subject: The Pharaoh's Journey

Hi Ian (et al)

It was because of posts like the one I will post below that got me banned from Ma'at on all boards except the Alternative board. It was when I sent Hermione a Tarot Card of The Fool for saying that my post were uanble to be proven and were deleted that I was banned from the final one, although in her defense I did ask to be set free from the fools that inhabit that board.

meanwhile ...

Hi all ...

It has long been wondered exactly what journey was being made by The Pharaohs in his boat as he journeyed across the sky. some or most think it is symbolic of the sun setting in the west and rising again in The East a symbol or death and rebirth. But why would a Pharaoh want to chase after something he surely would never catch? So therefore it is positioned that the voyage of The Pharaoh must be his attempt to chase after and be reborn and still others believe it is symbolic for the death and resurrection of The Pharaoh but I find this not quite right for isn't it the Ka which is the essence that lives afterward ? And isn't it portrayed as having wings ? So why then would a boat be needed?

And so we have to maybe take another look at what is being represented here and the only one that I have found that fits is that the boat represents a journey that The Pharaoh HAS ALREADY MADE here on Earth. And as a bit of food for thought I suggest that all along in Ancient Egypt the light and dark representing the not knowing and the knowing, ignorance and knowledge and I maintain when The Truth was found a Pharaoh could wear The Blue Crown of Egypt as a symbol of him achieving the end and the boat my friend it was purely symbolic as well for the boat pits are always in The East and that is where the journey ENDS not begins for after death it is the wings of the Ka that carries onward and so the real journey is from darkness toward the light. and the light is of course The Truth and the truth is that this is life on earth is but one journey on our path and The Ancient Egyptians understood this as no other race ever has.

Aw then one might ask ... what was The Ka ?

All things in good time ...

Cheers
Don Barone
