Many members on this forum may not know what a watchmen is. Since Mariola mentioned it, I feel it is my duty to explian to those who don't understand the greater picture.

A "Watchmen" is a person that has the responsiblity to take care and watch over sites on the plataeu that are in the middle of being excavted. They also are assigned to watch over all areas of the plateau including looters from Nazlet El Sammon who try ot break in the excavated area and steal antiquities.

There is an antiquities mafia that exists in Nazlet El Sammon. You can compare them to the Italian mafia of old america that run the small towns and dsitricts and take care of all illegal activities. Well the village of Nazlet El Sammon have a mafia to. They work in broad day light with ak47's around their shoulders and are usually found around places that are in the process of being excavted to try to find antiquities to plunder and steal on the black market.

This was one of Hawasses biggest challenges to try to stop this mafia and the theives of Nazlet El Sammon from stealing precious antiquities. The biggest problem is that there are many ancient egyptian temples under the village of Nazlet El Sammon. The people know this and all of them dig under there basements and find antiquities and sell them on the black market. Millions and millions have been stolen and looted and it is hard to find who is doing it because since the houses are right above the ancient temples, the villagers can do all there dirty work in secret and unseen.

Hawass tried to stop this by putting extra police all over the village and assign a task force to stop antiquities trafficking in the village. Hawass even wanted to bulldoze the whole village down at one time and relocate the people to other areas of egypt. There was a plain by the egyptian govt to educate them, find them homes and to get them jobs, you see, the villagers of Nazlet El Sammon make their living lying and stealing from the tourists along with the profitiable black market trade. These people don't know what is it to work and make an honest living.

Hunter called the secret task force the "secret police" and made it sound like hawass had some kind of nazi rule over the villagers and would torture them if they told anybody about the socalled secrets under the village..... this is all bullshit!!!!!

Hawass tried to do something about the pillaging and stealing by his own people the last remenants of a great civilization that happens to be greatly still under the village of nazlet el sammon. The village is stopping hawass and other egyptologists from excavating the entire area and the looting has been horrific. I guess Mariola has a memory lapse about this as well because hawass told us the whole story.

Mariola claims that the watchmen that are suppose to WATCH and protect the unsecured areas that are being excavated at the plateau are the eyes and ears of Larry Hunter......

Well ladies and gentleman,, I'm sure all you people know about the power of money and corruption. It happens in every country in the world. These watchmen will tell anybody they want to heare FOR A PRICE!!!!!!! Hawass can't even trust his own people that he hires to protect the areas that are being excavated because tourists like hunter pay them off and in turn the watchmen tell hunter that alien spacecraft exist under the area being excavated!!!! This is just an example I mentioned to tell all of you how it works in egypt.. MONEY rules ladies and gentleman and the watchmen will TELL YOU ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO HEAR for 100 bucks!!!!!

Corruption does abound in egypt ladies and gentlemn, but it is NOT Hawass and company doing the corruption. ITS THE FUCKEN VILLAGERS!!!! The same villagers that hunter claims he gets all his "secret information" from........
