I thought I had masde it clear that imho the eivdcen shows that the cladding would NOT have exhibited the indentation.

starting from the corner a straight edge would have been employed by the 'Planing' stoneworker. As he progressed that straight edge would have ensured that the over all surface was Flat from corner to corner.

For this reason more than any other I see no reason for anyone to assume that the indentation was in fact something that was meant to be observed or that it was encoding anything.

IOW's it is a structural quirk, either by design or error that has no bearing on our overall understanding of teh pyramids constructtion..other than that it may indicate how Ramping was achieved.
