If the 'Osiris" shaft is so telling...why do none of the OCT proponents reference it as support for that theory?

Because....New Kingdom beliefs, funerary arrangements, Kingship, Infrastructure , and (and this is the important part)the encroachment and virtual defilement of the Funerary sites and temples of their forebears have nothing to do with that of the Old Kingdom

especially if one is attempting to tie everything at Giza together as a reverencial whole

why did Amenhotep II build his temple at Giza on top of the corner of the Sphinx temple if there was a reverential connection?

what I see is New Kingdom Rulers Tweaking extant sites for their Own ends. Ends that have absolutely nothing to do with the reasons for OK pyramid building
