Subject: felines guarding ancient temples all of over the world

Ladies & ;Gentleman,

One of my most passionette hobbies is the collecting Samurai Swords. I am in love with this ancient weapon and edure it beauty and craftsmanship. In my opinion, this is the best ancient close quarter weapon to every be introduced in the ancient world, one of which would make the Roman close combat swords completely inferior and obsolete. If the Roman legiond ever met the samurais on combat, I think the Romans would have failed miserably.

Upon observing my latest sword in my collection, I have noticed 2 lions on the tsuba. The first thing that entered my mind was the Sphinx at Giza. I immediately, realized upon further examination and brief research today that many ancient cultures used the lions and a number of different species of felines to guard there pyramids and holy shrines. But the only difference is the lion guardians always came in pairs. Meaning 2 lion statue dieites one on each end were the guardians of the holy places. I wondered immediatly on why the Giza Plateau has only one lion guarding the sacred site? I find that to be very odd and inconsistent to the other pyramid structures and temples. It is my bleleive that there were 2 sphinxes just like the tuthmosis stela portrays but was destroyed by lightning which was mentioned by herodutus. throughout the ancient world. Because of the fact that felines of all different species were used as the staple animal to guard there temples, it would suggest that ancient worldwide communication once existed on a large scale.

But there is more.....

as I contiued to google and do some research on the lions carved in the tsuba of my new samurai sword, I realized that one mouth was open and the other was closed. The ancient theme is that the open and closed mouth represented the "IN" and the "YO". Birth and death. The opening of the mouth ceremony in ancient buddhist teachings say that an open mouth releases bad spirits and the closed mouth keeps in the bad ones. This type of meditative breathing art activated what the buddhists refer to as "power of chi of the back muscle going up" I later found out that the samuari sword itself representing great power and mimicked the chi energy going up the spine. The measurement of the swords blade was always made to the size of the indidudual it was being built for and the length of his spine. These traditons are remininisint of not only the hindu kundalini and dragon dog lions that protected their temples as well but the ancient egyptian "Opening of the mouth ceremony" is extremely similar to that of ancient buddhism in the fareast.

Even the Maya and azrtecs used the Jaguar sphinx as the guardians of there temples. And also had open and closed mouths. As a matter of fact the pyramid at chiten Itza shows the dragons backbone during the winter solstice as 7 shadows going up the stepp pyramid representing the spinal column. The backbone of osiris also rings bells on this one as well.

Its seems in my mind that the ancient peoples all over the world had the same traditions as well as the same dieities and temples. All representing the movement of the sun........ during certain times of the year.

Alex, ignorantly deleted my post concerning the convex/concave indents on the GP for which I said represents the maltese vross in 3 dimensional form. The technology used today to amplify light is the use of the maltese geometrical configuration to amplify light, lazers and solar power in industrial applications.

So it is the opinion of the mosonic orders that at one time the tura limestone casing blocks were polished to a mirror like finish and the technology of optical refraction was used to amplify light for the marking of the midday sun and equinoxes....

We are either dealing with fruadian collective consiousness here or all ancient cultures were either aware and communicated with eachother or all came from a common mother land once existing as a continent now lost in the waves of antiquity.

Humbely,
John Carlo
