Subject: Christmas Blues

I like most people are finding it hard this year to just get by. And now the Holiday season is upon us making it even harder to manage.
I have a nine year old boy who is vent dependent with a trach and a feeding tube. He has underwent 29 surgries. Every year at Christmas time I worry that this is my last Christmas with him. All I want is to give him a big Christmas this year. And it is so not possible for this to happen. Just cant budge any more money without losing a essiential to live. I am not one who ask for charity but this year I have to. I went and applied here local for Christmas help and go figure you are either a dollar to short or a dollar to much. We dont qualify. They dont take in to concept of rent, heat, gas for car, food, and medical bills. We are over by a few dollars. So simple it leaves me no choice but to turn to the internet for help.
I also have a 5 yr old son, who has been a great kid standing beside his brother and learning how to do simple care for his brother just incase it is needed.
If there is anyone who can help or even give a suggestion it would really help alot. I know that Christmas isnt about the gifts but its a celebration of Jesus's birth. But when you are a child its all about Santa. My boys have been good. Really and my nine year old has gone through more in his little life that I or anybody else could imagine. And he still holds a smile on his face, and still has a faith and love for all that we as an adult couldnt hold a candle too. I just want to give him a big Chirstmas with all the trimmings. Just for the sake of my heart.
