Subject: One Wish For Six Kids

Hello and Merry Christmas. My name is Audra, I'm eighteen years old and am the second oldest of six kids. Our ages are 19, 18, 16, 13, 11, and 10, and I'm asking you to help me grant their (and my parents)one wish. Which is (for the kids) to meet our grandother for the first time. My fathers mother lives in Newport Rhode Island. The first time she and my grandfather saw me I was about six months old, and by brother one year. The second time we went up I was barely four, my brother five and my younger sister two. My grandpa, sadly, died of lung cancer between our first and second visit, never being able to meet the younger four children. Which brings me to my dilemma. One of my uncles called to tell us doctors found a spot on my grandma's lung. That was three days after my moms mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. She has already started Chemo. On this news we were headed to Rhode Island one way or another. In order to do this we would have to give up any Christmas presents. Which the four older kids including myself gave up in a heart beat no if's and's or but's about it. But the two younger ones im worried about. Whats gonna happen when Santa doesn't come. So
I saved as much money as I could for them. Then we hit trouble at the bank and now even the trip to Rhode Island looks questionable or at least very uncomfortable. I over heard my parents talking about our financial status and we might be able to make it up there and stay for two to three days on a thousand dollars if we can get it. And thats a big if even when I gave them all the money I had saved. Thats when I started looking for help. They dont know I'm writing this, and if they did they would probably lecture me for being greedy. I cant help it, I dont want to see my grandma for only two or three days on a big maybe I want it gauranteed with the possibility of more time. I want my little brothers to have Santa for a couple more years before they stop believing and I certainly don't want them to stop believing in hope and magic the first and possibly last time they see their grandma. Please, I am asking you to help my grandma see six of her grand-kids all together, for my dad to get home for the first time in twelve years, for my mom to have an almost stress free holiday, for my brothers and sister to see a most beloved grandma for the first time when she's stong and not weak from chemo and to continue the magic of Santa for at least another year. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. God Bless you and have a Merry Christmas.

P.S. Sorry I wrote a book :)
