OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A FINANCIAL GRAY AREA. I HAVE AN EXCELLENT JOB AND ALWAYS WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR MY FAMILY. BUT ONE YEAR I GOT HIT WITH A MASSIVE BILL DUE TO DAMAGE TO MY HOME., A VERY EXPENSIVE AND DEBILITATING ILLNESS, AND THE LOSS OF MY VECHICLE IN AN ACCIDENT. I ALSO HAD 5 KIDS AND COULDN'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING FOR CHRISTMAS. THE MONEY, TIME AND STAMINA JUST WASN'T THERE. IT BREAKS A PARENTS HEART TO SEE THEIR KIDS WANTING. I RELIED ON THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS THAT YEAR. IT WAS ALL I COULD DO, IT WAS HUMILIATING AND HUMBLING TO HAVE TO ASK.SO PLEASE DON'T BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE. SOMEDAY YOU MAY VERY WELL BE IN A SITUATION THAT IS SIMILAR. MOST OF THE PEOPLE I HAVE MET THRU THE VARIOUS CHARITIES I HELP ARE HONEST, HARD WORKING AND DESERVE MORE THAN THEY ARE ASKING FOR.
