Subject: I really NEED a Secret Santa Helper christmas "04"

I decided to lay it all out on the line...and tell all, who reads these words that I am asking for help.

I need help...
donations of toys
or shoes
and clothing-outgrown
bicycles--scooters-
-chilrens beds--
linens sheets-pillows pillow cases--
even cans of paint and rollers and brushes painters tape

to get the kids rooms right again. we have been contacting housing about the apartment for two years and noone seems to come to help.to paint the kids rooms and brighten them up.maybe with some of that stick on tiles to go over the broken damaged ones. and some good curtains to cover up those gated windows. I presently have three girls in one room and two boys in the other room... they have one bed...but the three girls do not have any. last winter the steam radiator spit out brown water all over thier beds and we tried to dry them out but thought better about it as i noticed little flies landing on them (someone said if you see the small ones landing and then flying away...its because they are laying eggs(larve) I thought it best to just get rid of the entire thing. So those mattresses were laid out with the trash pile and were taken by yet others..like us...didnt have a bed on which to lay thier head.
the water also forced us to be more creative in preserving our family treasures in the see thru containers you get from target.
I am a single mom that lives in Pink houses Brooklyn NYCHA (new york city housing authority)its such a sad thing to have to search for...and i am not having much luck...does anyone know a chritmas angel? I am really serious about everything.
My oldest girl Nikki is 14
MY oldest boy Richard is 10
MY daughter Julianna is 9
my babydaughter Jana is 4
and the baby Roman..hes 2
I know this is alot to be asking for:::but this will be the first real christmas
with good memories..i want surprises like those lucky kids get...tickets to see the Radiocty christmas show would be wonderfulI have been having alot of health issues going through the hoops but I am psycailly unable to handle this all on my own,
dont know if you can help...we might even be neighbors or our kids know each other I know this sounds weird..typing out a letter at 3:26 am...But this is the site I found and its the site I hope to get a least one angel to help with.

i remember the night my mom sat us down on the couch on christmas eve and asked us to be very still because she had a story to tell about Santa. Of course..all three of us girls clapped our hands..because thats what little girls do when they hear his name.
she decided to tell the truth...she told us there was no santa.and we started to cry...i was the baby of the family and got angry with the older two for lying to me so long. There was not going to be a tree with lights or presents. things were just too bad.it was just going to be another day.

two hours later as we were stocking the wood bin and stacking logs i heard a noise on out front steps. Someone had heard us...on our front porch were twelve bags of groceries...boxes of lights glass balls...and bags and bags of wrapped presents...some marked oldest some middle and some baby ( me)my mother had the tree up and decorated by the time we woke up on christmas mornig...she even has some homemade quilts she made for each of us...all wrapped in simple brown paper. she had hung the stockings and there was even stuff in them.
Christmas morning was wonderful...the ladies insured we had what we needed for christmass breakfast and a 24 pound turkey for dinner. I remember the young girl who came with the angels...her name was Wendy MaGathy from Charlestown west virginia( Ransen Elementry School)...i never forgot what you and your mother did for us...and even if you forgot...we have not.what a wonderful selfless thing to do.

S--ok...I am trying to do what I can on my end. If anyone has any ideas i sure could use them now. Please dont wait...its only 41 days till christmas...i have entered a contest to win a chritmas tree..(6 times)maybe I'll get lucky on that one.

I really hope that every single christmas wish gets granted for every child who has a wish. thanks

lorieann in East New York Brooklyn
