Subject: Can anyone help?

I am not on public assistance, nor do I want to be.
Due to unusual circumstances, I am having to push my pride aside and ask for help for Christmas this year. I have a 10 yr old daughter who still believes in Santa Claus and I have a feeling this will be the last year for this.
I was injured at work and was on workers com, alond with social security disability. This along with child support enabled me to survive. As of Nov, 2003, I am no longer getting work. comp, child support is behind 4200.00 and I have depleted my savings acct. Rent is due, we are down to the basics in everything except, well except our computer. We keep it going because it is our lifeline to everything. I would gladly give it up, or even trade something in exchange for Christmas help. I don't want my children to know how bad our financial situation is, nor do I need them worrying about a roof over our head. They have school studies. That is their responsibility. My dr. says he will not release me back to work, but I will work if I can get someone to hire me.
If anyone knows where to get help, I would appreciate suggestions. (I missed the deadline for the angel tree, cause I thought I would still have income coming in)
