Subject: Please help me with christmas - brothers illness and death caused job loss

My brother passed on 11/20 after a short battle with brain cancer - He lived in Pennsylvania and I in Indianapolis In -I had a job until his condition grew worse on 11/10 odessy hospice called to say that his time was near - I am the closes relative that he has and have been there for him through out this journey - I tried to explain to my boss that i had to be there for him since this was probably going to be the last time i saw him - she didn't understand and told me i can't be gone for that long - well i returned on 11/26 - after sending my brother home - to find i now have no job - I have 3 children - though 1 is a young man now and very understanding of the situation, but Alex 10 and Julia 2 still need a christmas - i know it was my choice to go be with him - but no one should have to choose between their job and their family - if i had to do it all over again i would cause it was the right thing to do - i had to leave my children here in indiana with a friend with i handled my brothers business. So i just hope that some one sees the sacrifice and the need that my family has - we didn't have much to begin with - now we are about to loose everything

you can read his on line obituary in the leader times newspaper(kittanning Pa) 11/22 edition.
