Hey there you Mclaughlins,

THank you greatly for your kind words about Opal. I love her too, and wish, as you do that there was more use of this wonderful character. Alas, I have no power over the powers that be, who are under tremendous pressure to keep ratings rising and the current thought is that it is best achieved using the characters you see most consistantly.

But we can remain hopeful that a story will come along in which Opal is an indespensible aspect and we'll have Opal everywhere!

Until then, thanks for writing, and keep on watching, there's some pretty exciting stuff coming up in Feb.
