Date Posted: 02:07:32 08/01/06 Tue I have watched AMC since the first day it aired. When they introduced the character of Opal I was very amused by the actress Dorothy Lyman. When they replaced her with you I truly thought it wouldn't be possible to do a better job than she did. Much to my surprise and pleasure, your work has many times been the highlight of the show. You are a HOOT! You play that character so well and with so much consistantancy that it's hard to believe you don't talk and act that way all the time. You are such a joy to watch. I love every scene you are in and always wait to hear what you are going to say or do in any given situation. I can't stand the thought that you will not be a regular. I've never headed up a rally or a petition before in my whole life but I'm ready to do that now. AMC doesn't have one other character that gives the audience the humor, the 'trailer trash turned lady', or the dynamics that you bring to the show. What ever will we do without our Opal? It just doesn't make any sense. I'm heartbroken. You will be missed by so many. It's Megan McTavish that needs to get the boot as far as I'm concerned.
