You're asking for trouble if you truly want to dive into the psyche of a male.

I'm sure there are plenty of guys who will step up to this thread and state their undeniable understanding of this movie, but they're fans to begin with, thus the question becomes more of a rally cry for self affirmation than a quest for a great revelation.

As far as the homosexual reference goes, it's come down the fact that, yes, the movie follows the lives of a "lesbian" couple, there fore, those in the gay community purposely seek this movie out while the straights over look it simply because it deals with such a taboo subject. My point can be made by going onto EBay right now and typing in Lost and Delirious. You'll notice that most of them make damn sure to put the word "lesbian" in the main title description.

True, it's a shame more people are not aware of this movie, but lets put that in perspective, this is our movie, it's better to have a few people who truly understand it, than a world of people who don't and take it for granted.
