I don't think she's gay, I just think she's open and friendly--and comfortable in her own sexuality. She took L&D not because of the girl-on-girl thing, but because of the character she got to portray. She also took Imagine Me And You because she's really good friends with Lena Headley.

Saying Piper is gay/bi because of the roles she chooses is akin to saying gay actresses/actors who play straight people frequently are straight.
