Yes it does go away, but leaves its mark on you.
It only goes away when you stop trying, and when you give it some time. Little by little, day by day, the pain dulls, and the good things you remember about someone take stronger hold. The final feeling is one of unity - no matter what - that someone has a piece of me forever, and i have a piece of her.

The most important thing is not to let your love fade, share it with someone new, but always stay loyal to the old love...The One.
It was not the first, only the greatest. Is still hope that I am worthy enough to find one like that again.

Love is not the thing to die for, one could die trying, but should never die "for" it.
