Okay my parents are gone and I'm back. I didnt get to see this movie until 2005 on IFC but like said I cried through the whole thing. I'm a 18 year old male and I'm not ashamed to admit this is absolutley the best movie ever made EVER. I have seen it 8 times and I react the same way during each one, this movie never gets old. I havent got to see it in awhile becuase I accidentally taped over my copy of it. Lately I've been checking the IFC channel to see if its going to come on anytime soon but no luck. I cant explain the way this movie makes me feel. This movie strikes home to me because I had a best friend in high school that was in love with another girl and somebody else found out, and her and her lover were tormented constantly. At first I became friends with her because she was pretty and I was gonna try and go out with her and later I learned her secret, I was the only person she could talk to about it and I guess maybe thats why this movie makes me feel that way. Those two girls had tons of friends and were real popular and finnaly society and their parents drove them apart. She didnt consider her self a lesbian and in fact had always had boy friends and even had sex with boys but she fell in love with another girl. After they seprated she would call me all the time crying and finally she was diagnosed as being depressed and other things. It was a real bad thing that I had to witness I would give anything if they could have stayed together.
