Rules.

1. Players pick the winner of the game and the margin of victory. You are awarded points if you pick the winner of the game and are withn 10 points of guessing the margin of victory. The closer you are to guessing the margin of victory, the more points you win. Conversely, not picking the winner means you lose points.

2. Example. SaintlySaint picks Florida to beat SPC by 20 points, and bets 100 points. Florida wins the game by 25 points. SaintlySaint gets 100 points multiplied by 5 (the difference between the predicted and actual margins of victory) for a total of 500 points. Example continued -- SaintlySaint picks Florida to beat SPC by 4 and SPC wins by 2, betting 100 points. SaintlySaint loses 100 points multiplied by 6 (difference between the predicted and actual margins) for a minus 600 points. The most points you can loses is 10 multiplied by your point bet.

3. Players do not have to pick every game. However, if picking a game, there is a maximum point bet players can make. Those points are indicated in parenthesis, with the first amount being the max bet. The amount in the 2nd parens is the minimum bet to qualify for participation bonus points (see rule 5). Players do not need to meet the threshold for a minimum bet unless they want to qualify for the participation bonus.

4. Players are awarded extra points for being more accurate. If you are within 2 points of the actual margin, a 5% accuracy bonus is added to your wager for that game, if within 1 point a 10% bonus is added, and if the exact margin is selected, the player earns a 25% bonus.

5. Players can also earn extra points for simply participating. In previous years, some players cherry picked games and ruined the spirit of the game. As a result, I implemented the "Gorvy" rule. Participation bonus points are not available on nights where there is only 1 MAAC game. On nights when there are multiple MAAC games, players will earn a bonus of 2% of their total points for each game played that night, provided that the player bets the minimum bet (or higher) for ALL games played that night. Example. There are 6 MAAC games on a given night. If the player makes the minimum bet in ALL 6 games, he will earn a 12% bonus of his total points at the end of the night. You cannot earn points under this scenario by betting the minimum in only 4 of the 6 games, and then expect an 8% bonus.
