This was unfortunate. It was dark. She was lost. It was definitely not a good mixture; especially in a place like here. Where was here anyway? Stumbling along a vacant ally, she was getting chills. Not that oh-it-is-cold-I-wish-I-had-my-jacket kind but the this-place-is-freaking-me-out kind. Her pale skin was luminous in the waning moonlight that here and there glimmered between gray clouds that stretched like fingers across the midnight sky. The female rubbed her arms. Didn�t help. Aria�s russet eyes strained for the correct path and/or a miracle in the murky darkness. Woops! Wrong move. Something tripped her and sent her sprawling to the cement. Whatever it was also cut her bare legs, drawing blood. What a day to wear shorts! A soft groan parted her rose lips. Brushing annoying brown strands from her face, she sat up and leaned against the wall of a building. Aria pulled her knees to her chest and groaned. This was unfortunate.
