Date Posted: 09:50:20 05/08/04 Sat In reply to: Kyoko 's message, ":.:...Feathers From Heaven...:.:" on 08:25:44 05/08/04 Sat Ivy pressed her back against the wall when the creature allowed one of it's wings to reach outward. Her lips parted slightly at the sight of the feathery appendage. In her three years of living in Cascade Moutains, she had yet to encounter an individual of this sort. Maybe that was because she usually tried to remain close to the city in the general population with the exception of tonight. Whatever the case, she was now in the prescence of this being and would need to act quickly on the situation. Unfortunately, she was frozen in a state of shock and could not move her body from the wall. Even if her limbs were functioning, they wouldn't be much use since her mind was clouded. As the male took steps closer, Ivy could see her chance of escaping becoming smaller. Now all she could do was try to melt into the brick behind her. But, alas, the other prevented her from doing even that when his wing slipped behind and around her bodice. She had waited too long to make a move and now she was going to pay the price. A desperate look flashed in her eyes as her heart began to speed up within her chest. The only thought that was somewhat reassuring was that perhaps this person would release her unharmed. Even that could not stop the burning in her lungs from her short, shallow breaths. This human-like creature may have thought he was doing the girl a favor by allowing her to think, but he was merely prolonging what she was certain was going to be her death. Her blue orbs searched the other's face. Though she could keep secrets in her eyes, her actions of her body told no lies. A shudder tore through her. Would this be how it would end? On a desolate street with just her and the creature with it's wing wrapped about her? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
