hey people. hows everyone from the 70's park days. the ballplaying at day (handball, paddleball, softball, basketball) the partying at night. in those days that park had so much going on it was like a 2nd home to us. i guess we took those days for granted but i have great memories. i was the guy with the back brace then after my spinal fusion, the body cast for nine months. we had dozens in our hang-out. would love to hear how everyone's life has been. my parents are still on e.84th bet. flatlands & ave j. its sad how the "hood" looks now.

i use to hang out at that park in the erly 90`s we use to run that park and just about the whole area around us we where crazy kid`s didn`t care about nothin i remember that park miss it alot!!!!!!!!!

I am very sad to say that Stanley Messina has passed away on Tuesday night. There will be a service on Thursday and Friday and will be buried on Saturday.
Please pass the word. Stanley was a great person and is loved and will be missed greatly.

Bildersee Schoolyard was the place to be for awesome roller hockey games in the late 80's!! Great times were had with Marc Weiss, Anthony Barra (my uncle), Greg Marcucci, Jay Schneider, and Howie "Ueck" Fortel, to name a few!!!

I drove past Bildersee Park today and I saw nothing but Niggers hanging out listening to Hip Hop & (C)rap music. I'm glad that i moved from Canarsie, it has changed drastically and not for the good neither. I feel rather sad now!!!!!

when i went to bildersee i use to hang in the yard until the school bell rang for 1st period,they had a handball court where everybody brought their own handballs to play with.i had fun in that yard,their was jumprope basketball and of course their was friends to talk to b4 class had started.

canarsie has changed so much but when it was nice 68 was a cool school everyone playing hand ball running across to get bagels the security gaurds mr taylor. i had lots of fun running from the guards cutting classes haha

yes i grew up in in canarsie and with a bunch of wild dudes some alive and some are gone. i worked in practical every store on flatalands ave the nosher, Bell Bagel and Bialy
Butchs fruit stand and my number one place was Realist photo

Mike the cop Mike the undertaker, Mark Lake, Anthony Picaco, Joey Picaco, lano brothers, vinny/eugene. zeto,
