Subject: Deploy the Boarding Party

S'kott took a seat in the Captain's ready room.

"Captain's log, supplemental. We have discovered the Gorn frigate Jagged Claw, disabled and adrift. It has no power, and there are no life signs. Our external inspection shows extensive damage consistant with a catastrophic loss of warp containment. The frigate also displays the unmistakeable burns and signs of scoring from phaser weapons. But the only vessels in this area of space which routinely use phaser weaponry are the Federation's. And there is still no sign of USS Citrus. It is most -- disquieting. I am sending a boarding party over."

S'kott tapped one portion of the console to close the log, then tapped another portion to open a channel to the transporter room.

"S'kott to K'tal. Take an auxiliary power supply and try to access the Gorn computer system. Find out what happened to them. Deploy your team when ready."

S'kott reentered the bridge and sat down at the center chair. "Mr. Gorgas, rig for towing. And send Sword to search back down the Jagged Claw's flight path."
