If I am a born again Christian, I am in the family of God, right? Also Romans 12:5 says "in Christ, we who are many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others". I hope you do not dismiss the rest of your family simply because they choose to meditate more on the "word" than on a method. We are already full of words, and the fact that we think we know because we know words is a problem. We need contact with the Spirit. When we have our own contact with the Spirit, we will be able to understand the word. Reading or studying the word without understanding it doesn't work.
