Subject: Information request from Venezuela

Dear PMW posters:

My name is Estefania Salazar and I´m a fourth-year journalism student from Caracas, Venezuela. I have an academic inquiry in which your help could be very useful.

I have been asked to enlist the press agencies that work nowadays in the South Pacific region for a course called "International Journalism". So far, I have been able to find these:

PRIVATE

New Zealand: Newsroom (www.newsroom.co.nz)

NON-PROFIT

Pacific News Broadcasting Association - PACNEWS (www.pacnews.org)

Could you please confirm this information and add any other, if necessary? Note that these agencies do not count the international ones (AP, Reuters, AFP,...). I have been asked for "autoctonal" agencies.

Any additional comment will be gladly received as well.

Yours faithfully,

Estefanía Salazar.

P.S. MODERATORS: I know this forum is not intended for discussions of this kind. However, the PMW is one of the few active forums for journalists from all the countries of the South Pacific. Many thanks for your consideration.
